Unforgettable were the legendary “Flirt” nights at Now & Wow during 2001-2004. But ever so impresive are the continuous thrilling Friday nights at the renowned Jimmy Woo where he rocks the joint on a weekly base!

Hitmeister D is also a regular behind the decks in award winning clubs, such as ’t Paard, Off_Corso, Musk, Club Silly, Club Monza, Tivoli, Sinners, Studio 80, Thalia, Maassilo, Matrixx, Bozzini and Club Noa.

Regardless all the fuss and hectic life as a DJ, Hitmeister has seen time to found the well- known eclectic booking office in the Netherlands, Ace Agency. “Blood is thicker than water“ he defines, leading the comfort life makes him nervous. He showed his programming skills before, at venues like Nighttown, Off_Corso and Now & Wow. Currently he is head of programming at Amsterdam Village Company, which makes him responsible for the programme at Amsterdam based venues like Hotel Arena and Odeon. Strangely enough he still finds time to produce his own music.....does this man ever get a goodnight’s sleep??

Hitmeister D is busy producing his very own first album. After finishing some remixes for tracks of renowned artists as aka the Junkies (Konijntje), Kenan Dogulu and Gerviev, he got inspired to make his own album. Because of his wide range, experience and interest in music, he is working with a number of diverse artists for this album, aiming to keep it funky & fresh!

How do you cataloge an artist as Real El Canario? dont waste your time, that's impossible! A DJ who is able to spin any style of music, a producer who can innovate with an original sound in a saturated music market or an MC who is able to lift the feeling of his people ... how do you classifie someone like this?
I think i better start from the beginning:
Many have tried to steal the credit, but everybody knows who is the godfather,and the absolute driving force of the Eclectic Sound. REAL EL CANARIO, a kid from the Tenerife,( Canary Islands () has become the most influencial Dj in the European Club scene, his Eclectic style have inspired a whole new generation of DJ's thru the continent and quiclkly spreading all over the world. REAL's journey to success started in the streets of Tenerife in 84, B.boying as a lil kid, and that B.boy state of mind has become one of the main clues to REAL's Style. Known from his beginings for his frenetic and unpredictable sets, REAL conquered the heart of his island in the 90's bringing the Hip Hop / R&B sound to the highest point til this day, reaching the highest peak in ticket sales on events of this type in Spain. In 2000 REAL moves to Amsterdam searching for new achievements, not even 6 months later el Canario was already resident in the best spots in the city, sharing stages with stars of the size of Jay Z or Busta Rhymes to name a few. The style and Technic of "The Tenerife Tornado" made serious impact within the public, promoters andDJ's and his charismatic selections quickly started to be imitated thru the country. Thats when the media gave birth to what they called THE ECLECTIC SOUND and REAL EL CANARIO as the absolute Godfather of it. REAL calls Afrika Bambbatta and Grandmaster Flash as his mentors and recalls that his style its simply HIP HOP. After Rocking Europe's biggest Festivals, Stadium sized events and the most exclusive Clubs, REAL begins his new journey, bringing it back to his people by recording his debut album as an MC / producer. REAL & his studio partner EDDY MENDEZ surprised everyone with their original sound in tracks like EL BOOGALOO or U ROCK. After 5 years of studio work here is "LLEGARON LOS OLVIDADOS" the album drops on REAL's own label GOFIO LTD with collaborations of the size of The Beatnuts, Lords of the Underground, or the legendary Keith Sweat.
