Why do companies do this? Check out the
Smint commercial below.
Trying to ride on Daft Punk's fame, what a blatant rip off of DaFunk this really pisses me off! If you cant hear the difference, check out the video below.

HERE * I got some twitter comments on my question. "Why do companies do this?" Well most people probably know they do this to get on a certain bandwagon and it's a lot cheaper to recreate a classic song than to buy the rights to use it in the commercial. But that's not really what I mean with "Why do companies do this?". I think Smint sets a lot of bad blood by Daft Punk remaking Da Funk. Smint isn't a very cool company, there aren't much gums and mints brands out there which are by the way, unlike companies that make your breath stink like cigarette, liquor and coffe brands, but that's a different discussion. Smint tries to be cool, but totally messes up in the process. What kind of people work for these advertising agencies, who comes up with these terrible ideas, whyyyyyyyy!
Whyyy do companies do this!
Hope this clears things up, hit me up on twitter if it doesn't.
